Our Golf Youth – early practice is all

Golf is a sport for young and old people – at our Hofgut Georgenthal, too! In no other sport does age play such a subordinate role as in golf. Almost 100 children and young people are already members of our club – and the trend is rising! There are many good reasons to start golf at a young age: training coordination skills by learning the golf swing and teaching sportsmanship and etiquette are just a few of them.

For our children and young people, depending on age and playing ability, we offer a weekly group training session under professional guidance. In addition, our youth golf camps take place during the Easter and summer holidays. Youth tournaments have also become an integral part of our annual tournament calendar. The proof that youth is very important to
us at Hofgut Georgenthal is also evident in the fact that we have hosted the rb german junior youth tournament four times, each time with up to 140 young people from all over the world.
