Hiking’ Weekend

Autumn break – yoga and hiking in the Taunus

October 23-25, 2026

In autumn, when the days can still be mildly warm and the body slowly adjusts to a quieter time, the Hofgut Georgenthal invites you to take a conscious break. The special location offers the ideal setting for challenging and relaxing yoga classes, varied hikes in nature and restorative wellness moments. Bettina Prien

Bettina found her way to yoga through her desire to do something about her back pain. What began with a VHS course developed over many years into an intensive exploration of yoga in all its diversity.

In 2022, she completed a 200-hour yoga training course as well as further training in pranayama and meditation (30 hours) and private yoga (25 hours). Today, she teaches Hatha Yoga Flow and Yin Yoga and leads retreats where she combines yoga with her second passion – hiking. Her classes are characterised by a balanced practice that harmoniously combines yang and yin, movement and relaxation.
