Our Giorgios at the Hofgut has moved …
… within the Hofgut, of course! After the lockdown, it offers many new amenities to our guests. Inside you will find an open fireplace and outside there is a sun terrace with an adjoining garden where you are able to enjoy the evening sun. Each time you visit us, you can decide for yourself which atmosphere suits you best. Just go ahead and choose between our library with seating, the bay window with a view over the Georgenthal, our casual event kitchen or our fireside lounge.
Our kitchen team wants your time out in the restaurant “Giorgios im Hofgut” to become a culinary delight. Our chefs place great value on creative, honest and enjoyable cuisine … “without much chichi”. They rely on regional products of outstanding quality and sensible animal husbandry, as well as seasonal offers. By the way, the name “Giorgios” is inspired by the past; after all, the Hofgut with its restaurant is located directly at the Limes, the border of the Roman Empire.

Monday to Sunday: 18:00 o’ clock p. m. to 23:00 o’ clock p. m.
(kitchen times: 18:00 o’ clock p. m. to 22:00 o’ clock p. m.)
Season on the terrace: from April 1st until October 31st
Splendid indulgence in the Hofgut cuisine
Now it’s official: our Hofgut cuisine has been awarded three out of three lions by Hessen à la carte, which is Germany’s oldest regional quality association, and has been included in the restaurant guide. The journal “Rhein-Main geht aus! 2020” is also convinced of our quality. Here we finished directly in fifth place.
