Yoga Retreat “Welcome to the Now” - Your
Yoga & Wellness Weekend in the Taunus

Arrive. Breathe. Enjoy the moment.

March 26–28, 2027

The present moment is the only moment we can truly shape. During the “Welcome to the Now” Yoga Retreat with Simone Barthel, you can consciously take a weekend just for yourself – away from everyday life and surrounded by the peaceful nature of the Taunus region. Mindfulness and breathing exercises invite you to become more aware of the present moment. Varied yoga sessions will help you recharge your energy, strengthen your core and reconnect with your inner strength.

A weekend to breathe deeply, let go and consciously arrive in the here and now.

What you can look forward to

The varied yoga sessions combine Hatha, Vinyasa and Yin Yoga with breathing exercises, meditation and mindful reflection. The “Step into Your Power” session focuses on strength and balance, while “Good Night Monkey Mind” creates space to relax and let go. On Sunday, a heart-opening yoga practice focuses on self-love and acceptance. Journaling or a walk through the forest complements the programme and gives you time to consciously reflect on your experiences.

Between sessions, there is plenty of time for yourself: relax in the wellness area at Hofgut Georgenthal, enjoy the surrounding nature or simply allow yourself to do nothing at all. All sessions are suitable for both yoga beginners and experienced yogis.

Your yoga instructor Simone Barthel

Simone discovered her passion for yoga in 2009. Since then, the connection between body and mind has become an important path towards greater focus, self-love and contentment. In her mindful and varied classes, she combines breathing and mindfulness exercises with Hatha Yoga, Yin Yoga and gentle Vinyasa flows. Her aim is to show how yoga can help us face the challenges of everyday life with greater awareness and ease.

Who is this retreat for?

This retreat is designed for women who have busy lives, take on a great deal of responsibility and are often there for others – and who would like to spend a weekend putting themselves first. No previous yoga experience or particular level of flexibility is required. The focus is not on performance or perfection, but on mindful awareness, relaxation and the opportunity to reconnect with yourself.
