Our Golf course in the Taunus

Since the season of 2016, you will here find one of the most beautiful golf courses of the country in combination with one of the best golf hotels in Hessen. Without any doubt it is an attractive destination for golfers.

The golf paradise in the Taunus makes golfers’ hearts beat faster. Like an amphitheatre, the 18 holes stretch across the funnel-shaped terrain around the Hofgut estate and hotel. The special shape of the landscape makes the course extremely interesting and offers a varied and challenging game to golfers.

The course designed by the Düsseldorf Golf course architect named Christian Althaus is based on a classic “links course”, which is modelled on the original courses in Scotland. The design also rests on three themes that are characteristic of the region: the UNESCO World Heritage Site Limes, the orchards and the element of water.

We are pleased to invite you to dive into our pool and sauna area which includes a beautiful sun terrace and sunbathing lawn by the pond. In our fitness room you can train your strength and endurance and afterwards treat yourself to a pleasant (sports) massage or soothing treatment.

Our opening hours:
Monday to Sunday: 09:00 o’ clock a. m. to 17:00 o’ clock p. m.
Outside our opening hours you can get tokens, green fees and hire trolleys at the hotel reception.

Overview:
• 18-hole course: open depending on weather conditions
• Short course: open depending on weather conditions
• Practice greens: open depending on weather conditions
• Himalayan green: open depending on weather conditions
• Driving range: closed on Mondays until 1 pm due to maintenance work, otherwise open depending on weather conditions
• Trolleys permitted, carts permitted depending on the course situation

Notes:
• Due to weather conditions, it is possible that only 9 holes can be played (this can be seen daily and promptly via the webcam on our homepage).
• Closures of the practice facility and the course can also be seen via the webcam.
• The driving range can be played on the tee mats all year round.
